Bio of Founder:

Tim Wheeler founded MPS in 1998 after a number of careers involving manufacturing sales and management. Tim has an MBA in International Business. Tim has always had an abiding interest in environmental issues as well as renewable energy sources. Tim is an avid student as relates to renewable energy and has also taken numerous classes related generator installation and repair, solar and wind system manufacture and installation. Tim is a well respected businessman. He has earned the reputation among his many customers for competence, courtesy and doing exactly what he says he will do. Tim's worldwide business background has enabled his company to develop strong relations with manufacturers and in ther attainment of the absolute lowest prices for quality products, thus benefiting his customers by providing greater value. Tim always considers the interests of the customer first. Tim has become involved in the renewable energy field  because he wants to be a force for positive change in the world. He wants to empower people and nations to gain energy independence, to free nations from the import of oil and the burning of fossil fuels in order to reduce global warming. This will always be his mission until worldwide energy and transportation needs become uniformly available on an affordable and environmentally friendly basis.

Our Mission:

The mission for Mountain Power Systems is to help individuals and the US to achieve energy independence while reducing global warming by making low cost renewable energy products readily available to the public on a widespread basis. MPS is very intent upon treating customers with great honesty and respect at all times. MPS also prides itself on the quality and value of the products and services that we offer. Inherent to the reason MPS was created is the goal to have a positive impact upon the environment by freeing individuals and companies from dependence upon fossil fuels

Company History:

MPS was founded in 1998 and originally the company was involved in the sale and installation of emergency use generators. Early on MPS became one of the largest installers of generators in Colorado. Later MPS became involved in the sale and installation of a wide array of renewable energy systems. MPS is now involved in the sale and installation of photovoltaic solar systems, wind turbines and emergency use generators for homes and businesses. Most recently, a sister company of MPS has also entered the nationwide market for small electric and gas cycles and scooters. The combined experience of workers affiliated with MPS amounts to over 200 installations of generators, solar and wind turbine systems.
